Being entranced by art at the very early ages, Kristina’s journey toward her art practice has not stopped ever since. Kristina graduated from the Chuvash State University , Faculty of Design. She studied interior design, fine art history, sculpture and painting. After graduation with overall Excellent grade, for over six years Kristina worked as an interior designer and in 2017 she took her chances as a full time artist. Now Kristina lives and works in Moscow, Russia. She makes an abstract expressionism paintings, art-objects and experiments with different materials. For her art she uses mixed media (acrylic paints and gels, oil pastels, pencils, markers).
Kristina held her first solo show in Madrid, Spain in Gaudi gallery. She is participant of Art Moscow modern art fair23, Art Russia fair 2022, 2023, ARTLIFE festival (Moscow) 2022, 2023, Energy Art festival (Irkutsk), Istanbul Art Contact fair (Turkey) , Portiman Art fair 23 (Portugal). She collaborates with architects and designers for many years. Her art were published in AD and ELLE decoration magazines, was shown on TV shows. My paintings become never ending selfgrowth. Peoples feelings and emotions are catching my artistic attention the most. Improvisation, forms searching and color combination are a core of them. They are done in many layers. I add them, remove and add again till my personal reaction to the way they mix and live together is completely satisfied. Usually it’s uncontrollable action and the direction is unknown, but surely, felt. Random marks and strokes, perfectly matched colors tells You the story of unconditional passion the russian artist has to her work.
I find the inspiration in nature, people and pick up ideas from everyday life exploring social relationships. The greatest part of being artist for her is transforming feelings into something physical, touchable. Im searching for strong emotional connection between my art and spectators. When this magic happens my work is done.
